We Are What We Are (A Test Pattern)

You often start in one place and end up in another....

I forgot about this one, but in the interest of putting everything out here it is.

Not that many people will care because SoundCloud has turned to shit, but a little while ago I posted a really quick put together 70's glam rock style song called 'We Are What We Are'. I literally did it in a few hours. It had some honky-tonk piano and big hook chorus etc. But it didn't start like that.

Not that this is a good recording, but it is interesting to see how songs start out and what they evolve into. This is the first version that really was done in one shot. Apart from the guitar it is completely different (probably drags a bit).

This track is just me testing out a riff and an idea. I don't even have the melody yet. It has an almost post-punk vibe to it.
