Movement Like Sound

by The East Village Vampire

Have I changed, or have the times changed?

The short answer: both.

All I know is that when I recently listened to commercial radio I was depressed. Where was the attitude? Where were the snarling guitars? Where were the rough edges? Where was the soul? Even decent songs seemed to have the life sucked out of them. Everything was either compressed or EQ'd to within an inch of its life.

Now, I am not claiming to be the savior of Rock 'n' Roll. But I can at least guarantee that these songs were conceived without a single commercial consideration and were produced in the way the rock use to be - rough and free.

Good rock 'n' roll should move you and these songs move me (hence the set title). I hope they will move you.

Enjoy.
