I Hate That Car

Break out the glow sticks and get out of your mind.

Let me take you back to 1997.

After posting a few songs over the last couple of months I have reached back into my bag of old electro tracks. No real reason other than to hear something different.

The track was inspired by a sample from the John Carpenter film “Christine” – not the great man’s best, but still pretty cool. There is something about loving a car more than another human being that is such a crazy idea.

Not much to say about 'I Hate That Car'. It is what it is. Just a bit of mindless fun.

I do like the industrial backdrop that sits behind the main beat. Also, I think the ride cymbal beat when the main synth riff kicks in is pretty cool. Other than that I don’t have much to say about it. The track has some quintessential 90’s sounds in there that you don’t hear anymore.

I can’t pinpoint exactly when I put it together but it was a long (long) time ago.

Anyway, more songs are on the way. For now just leave your brain at the door.
