As a tribute to some of the Godfathers of dance music, I have decided to re-work some classic sets, this being nr 1. Welcome to my re-work of Paul Oakenfold's legendary New York set as released by the Gobal Underground series. The likes of Oakie, Digweed and Rampling were masters of innovating between genres, never sticking to one thing, always bringing us the latest tunes, via hugely influencial radio shows, such as 'The essential mix and The Love Groove Dance Party '
We all know about Oakies legendary Goa mix of '94, but lets not forget how these masters broke the boundries, playing Progressive house, early progressive Psy Trance, Drum and Bass, all in one set. They didn't believe in generic sets of only one style of music. If you love music, spread your wings and remember,'Variety is the spice of life ' PLUR
