.... Having said that, do not let this criticism take away from the fact that overall, this is a very good, very well-rounded and immaculately constructed EP. As I’ve said earlier, if you’re well versed in the circles of liquid drum and bass you will find this a surprising but very worthy addition to your mixes in the upcoming months. The percussion is tight throughout; the vocals are very well done and not over-utilised or cheesy; and the dominant chord progressions are absolutely spot on. Consequently, it will sit perfectly alongside all of the labels and artists that I’ve mentioned throughout this review. To T:Base, Oscar Michael, and C Recordings, then, both my approval and my apologies. My approval for a top notch EP, and my apologies for not having come across you guys before. I shall be keeping my eye out for more tunes from you lot in the future, and you – the reader – should too. It’s very good indeed.
