Sakson', the second release on new imprint Surface recently founded by DJ/producer Halo, is here just in time for the summer and doesn't disappoint !

Originally hailing from Italy, but now firmly established in Ibiza, Tuccillo delves further into his famously finely-crafted sound on this release Tuccillo opens proceedings with a warm intimate stroll through deep hypnotic textures, staccato sax complimenting the almost subliminal vocal whilst complex conga rhythms drive the track ever forward.

Next up, Halo & Hector strip it right back, allowing the groove to emerge luxuriously over simply-executed resonant percussion patterns - distilled to perfection, this remix is an understated gem.

Third and final in this package is a slightly darker, more determined interpretation of the track - Sam Russo steps wonderfully sideways with this haunting and mysteriously enveloping synth-driven aural treat, laden with enticingly deeper vibes All in all an exciting, well thought out release perfect for this time of year !
