[SBLVL019] Traxxx Romay- Bitcoin Broker EP(OUT NOW!)

by SUB:LVL AUDIO

We first heard of Missouri based Traxxx Romay through a former Michigan local uber-talent named Alfred English a little under year ago. Upon investigation, it's safe to assume we heard what he heard, Something fresh and vibrant while maintaining a gritty approach and disregard for normalcy. "Bitcoin Broker" an ode to selling digital currency shells out a ghetto-tech vibe drenched with what Traxxx' describes appropriately Grime Couture. The companion track "Fashion Icon" stresses a street approach that's sure to decimate catwalks everywhere with throbbing kicks and riot-inducing progression without clearing all the ladies from the dancefloor. At Sub:lvl Audio you can pretty much expect a steady stream of Drum n' Bass, but we do like to look elsewhere for passionate individuals in the Hip-Hop and Electronic Music space to break up the overly used design of specific genre-based labels. This is an example of looking beyond what is trendy, what is standard and what is expected.

"I like the idea of adding a feminine touch to grime which is traditionally a very male and aggressive genre. I feel like the internet provides a unique opportunity to synthesize disparate ideas and I wanted to emphasize that in a way that references both cultural exchanges and actual commerce."- Traxxx Romay
