It's comforting to know that there is some carryover between digital DJing and playing strictly vinyl. The last time I played vinyl was in 2009, back when my brother and I were starting out and all we had were turntables, a mixer, and some house records (no SL-1, ScratchLive, or digital files). So for me to jump straight into recording a vinyl-only mix out of the blue, and having it come out half-decent is pretty neat.

The majority of these records belong to my brother, from when he was starting out and collecting jacking house in 2009-2010. The rest are from a bargain box that we picked up in 2009 to start out. The fourth/last record belongs to myself. I picked this one up summer 2015 when I discovered $5 vintage house records.
