BANGFACE, the last great rebellion from the 90's UK rave culture. Why, how and what, were all the questions I needed answered, because the Bangface ethos, music and parties are kindred to my own love of rave and music. It was an honour to catch up with Saint Acid aka, James Bangface, the guy who gave birth to Neo Rave Armageddon in a disused toilet in Shoreditch.

Discover what links Bangface and Reinforced Records, how do you spell gabber, how do you get into Bangface for free, for life? ... and did James invent meme's?

This was recorded at Bangface Weekender 2018, late on a Sunday morning. Popping in, Warren and Fran, two of many, many people who make the weekender happen. I also recorded another two hours of interviews with people at Bangface and you can hear what they think over here: soundcloud.com/solidsoundfm/tr...rip_to_bangface

The music in the background is a mixture of Aphex Twin, Luke Vibert and other bits. Two of my personal favorites are these tracks;

Rolando Simmons - Spirala
