When it comes to the new school of UK Bass, South London-based Skepsis is no stranger to any fan of the sound. Having been DJing and producing since the age of 15, Skepsis made a huge breakthrough into the scene in 2015, gaining a large following in the space of a few months with a series of bass-heavy remixes, including Flying by Wiley and That's Not Me by Skepta. His remix of Rebound X's grime classic "Rhythm & Gash" has to this date over 90,000 Soundcloud & YouTube plays, and has been supported by legends such as DJ Hatcha and Logan Sama at events up and down the country. Skepsis also has a proficient work rate when it comes to original productions, with releases on respected labels such as Project Allout, DeepRot, 3000 Bass, Tartan Paint and Anthemic but to name a few. His intricate basslines and heavy hitting percussion have quickly gained him a strong core fan base in the UK and beyond, having already played his first festival in May 2015 (CitySoundProject in Kent), and supported multiple international DJs live including: Shiba San, Breach, Flava D, Lowsteppa, Huxley, TCTS, Eli & Fur, Sidney Charles, Dappa, and Waze & Odyssey - all by the age of nineteen. The future is looking very bright indeed for Skepsis, and fans of his sound should be very excited to hear what the future brings if things continue at this current rate of success.
