Profile description of Sixty69nine:

Since starting his musical journey in the late 90s, gifted DJ and producer Sixty69nine has been the driving force behind some remarkable projects. Whilst he gained massive attention with his hit single ‘Hell Yeah’, in 2013, hitting Beatport Top 100 charts, Sixty69nine has also been the mastermind behind other wonders like: ‘Music In My DNA’ and ‘Scream’ - landing multiple Belgian chart placements and extensive radio and press support.

Regarded as one of Belgium’s most promising talents, Wouter Van Boxstael, the man behind the Sixty69nine moniker, has been on a consistent rise and has managed to put ink on paper with well respected labels, including the likes of: Peak Hour Music and Housepital Records. Aside from being a seasoned producer, Sixty69nine is also a highly in-demand DJ. Along the years, he’s been warming crowds at top venues and festivals, such as: Tomorrowland, The Yacht Week, City Parade, Noxx, Spirito and The Factory, holding his own club night ‘Home Sweet House’ since 2009.

Whilst continuing on the successful path embarked in previous years, Sixty69nine is now taking a step back from the trend-following EDM era and is re-launching himself artistically, going back to his roots. His refined emotional, melodic Progressive House sound with an added touch of euphoria is already making big waves within the current Dance music scene and his fresh remix of Sam Smith’s ‘Writing’s On The Wall’ has already piled up support from heavyweight superstars like Danny Avila and gained airplay in Belgium, Brazil and Germany. Sixty69nine is now busy in his studio once again, cooking up new material to end 2015 in style and start 2016 with a bang, so keep an eye out for updates!
