With releases on Trace's legendary DSCI4 imprint and Randall's Mac 2 Recordings, it's not hard to see why Shoto's club focussed style has turned heads over the past year.

'Can't Resist' opens the salvo with a tough, rolling break and an arsenal grimey bassline modulations sure to wreck the floor at peak time. Shoto takes inspiration from the likes of Break, aiming steadily for groove and heft and achieving both with ease.

'Da Funk' follows suit with another high energy combination of crispy breaks and scuzzed out low-end, with infectious vocal chops icing the cake nicely.
