Enfin, four years after Reflectionz, Ghostown has finaly returned with the new album Spektah Gadjo
Continuing somewhat in a similar vein as where he leff of last time, Spektah encore explores the mix of folk music (balkan/tsigane with a somewhat electro retro hip hop, or some might say trip hop, though songs like Boat to Stalingrad and Earnith Toasteth are far too bouncy to be considered down tempo quoi!
BPM ranging from 90 - 120, but with quite a few swing ryhtyms playing with the 6/8 (Mister Glum, Spektah and Breton Spook Dub (plus the interlude Chasse O Brunettes) The song Hat Stand is also in a 3/4 with an interestingly quirky/decalé beat, the song is a guitar based (Baptiser) electro rock number which is possibly one of the most original works on the album. Jeason (le charmeur des serpentins) is back with contributions on Earnith Toasteth, Mister Glum, Know Thy Neighbour and the infamously titled "The Unstoppable French Seamen", which is a kind of humouristic battle evoking stereotypes between the french "froggies" and the brittish "bifsteks" (feat Clawed Verile Homme)
Virus From Mars explores radical theories that life originated from extra terrestriels, armies of walking dead and the destruction of the planet.]]></itunes:summary>
