Most of the samples is played by the guitar (Thomas), and I have resampled all. If you sit in the evening at the Babybeatch you will know Thomas from playing nice guitar on one of the banks there. The sounds around the Guitar are insects with a very high tone. Its nearly pain in the ear to hear this insect. Most of the time you can hear them in El Retermal and Vizcaina.
The recording form this set are all from 2018/19 and got recorded in La Gomera.
I have taken the inspiring sounds of the Nature form La Gomera and combined it with the great world of analog music using digital techniques.
What you hear is an analog/digital symbioses trying to catch the moment of an analog musician and the landscape of nature and bring it into an electronic context to become a puzzle in a picture of sound. Traveling from moment to moment.
All recordings are done by hand and got mixed up with some NI Maschine sounds to build the beats out of all and then build the timeline in Ableton.
All recordings are from La Gomera except the Singing. The singing comes from Nepal. Also, the tabla is made in Nepal but played in La Gomera! It looks like I should create a track from La Gomera with a sense of Nepal :)
On the instruments
Michael: for the Flute and Piano
Tine: on the Frame Drum
Sven: on the Tabla, Maschine, and Percussion
The Island: Birds and Insects. The Walter system from El Retamal, The Ocean. Beach ( Am Hafen), Frogs and lots of undefined sounding objects ;)
Enjoy listening and share if you like it!

This track got inspired by my trip to La Gomera with Twin. We spend several days traveling by Van and Ferry to La Gomera, and I recorded sounds on the way. Most of the sounds in this track are analog recorded and arranged later.
It is a song made by sounds of La Gomera. For example, you can hear the rattling from the shaker tree, sounds of insects and other animals.
My Tabla creates the bass and the most drumming. You can also hear the harmonic Sansula and Xylophone. Michael alias Jagger plays the Flute and Violine. Different sounds are created with any instruments, which are manipulated with effects. The melody in the middle for example which sounds like whales is a down-pitched Violine.
It's my first song from sounds recorded in La Gomera, and more will come! Huge Thanks to Twin and Michael for their help and creative input.
