Listening And Learning The Art Of The Mixing & Blending He Began His Career And Started His Own Record Label "T.O.M Digital Production" Also Known As "Team Of Monstars" Consisting Of Close Friends Who Also Shared An Interest In The Business. Semaj's 1st Mixtape Released In Stores Early 2000. After Growing A Fan Base And Hearing Input On His Music, He Began To Expand The Team And Stores To Other Cities. Once The Internet Exposure Began Through Social Media, Semaj's Was Noticed Be A Local Film Artist And Was Included In A Jersey City Dj Documentary In 2006. With That Type Of Exposure He Released A Mix Titled "Jersey City Mix" And Quickly Went Viral With The Catchy Phrase "Jersey City Niggas Are The Craziest" The Mix Was Heard All Over Including Boom Boxes, Ringtones & Passing Cars. Afew Years After He Was Noticed By A Mixtape Distributor Who Quickly Connected And Started Releasing His Mixtapes To Even More Cities And Started Increasing The Exposure. Now With This Level Of Exposure And Increased Fan Base Semaj da Dj Is Pretty Much Well Known Hosting Local Clubs And Grand Opening Events For Major Companies Such As Jimmy Jazz. And In Recent News Was Nominated As "BEST Blend/Remix Dj Of The Year" In The "2015 Allstar Mixtape Awards"
