Sebastien Andreas

Born in 1978 in Lens, Sebastien Andreas is a native of northern France, where he lived all his childhood. At three, he was listening to his parents' vinyl records with earphones ranging from classic to modern. One day, when he was seven years old, when he was putting up games in a kindergarten classroom, he found an old piano under a pile of cardboard and other tinkers in a back room; He removes all the objects and begins to play. Little melodies came out without even knowing what he was doing. At midday, he returned every day to play the piano, until a teacher surprised him. She talked with him and she advises her parents to provide her with a small keyboard.

He learns music theory at eight years old for two years. After a change of schooling, he enters another music school, which forces him to start again from scratch, which for this one "it was not in the norms of learning". Considering this policy and the implacable boredom of which he was a victim, he stopped solfegging (not to say deny) and studied the musical structure of himself, in order to consolidate his knowledge in the different expressions of music. Between the piano and the large organ, he plays on many instruments based on a keyboard. In 1993, he began composing music. With the events of his journey, he demonstrates an openness of mind and an imagination that seeks perfection.

In 2009, following an injury that forced him to stop for a year, he decided to transcribe all his music and put them forward. Absorbing different cultures, Sebastien Andreas writes totally varied musics in an attraction towards the Symphonic Rock. Now living in Brittany, he feels in step with his musical philosophy.
