Charakteristisch für seine Arbeit sind auch die direkte Interaktion zwischen Ton und Bild und der Austausch zwischen Publikum und Performance. Alle seine Werke entstehen in Echtzeit - im Augenblick - und somit ist jede Aufführung anders. Echtzeit-Audioverarbeitung, maschinelles Lernen und KI, Live-Codierung und zahlreiche elektronische Instrumente kommen zum Einsatz.

Jeden Abend begibt sich das Live-Techno-Duo Çöp mit seinen Synthesizern neu auf die Suche. Bis auf einzelne Elemente und Absprachen bleibt die Performance komplett improvisiert.
Trotzdem ist der Sound von vornherein klar: Schnell und düster geht es durch die Nacht. Nie ohne die Hoffnung auf ein besseres Morgen.

Freundschaftliche Umarmungen, ja selbst Händeschütteln sind zur akuten Gefahr für uns selbst und für unsere Mitmenschen geworden. An den Besuch eines Techno-Klubs oder einer Diskussionsveranstaltung ist absolut nicht mehr zu denken. Was in den nächsten Wochen an finanziellen Schwierigkeiten auf kulturelle und subkulturelle Einrichtungen zukommt ist noch nicht abzusehen – sicher ist aber, es wird nicht leicht. Doch neben der drohenden materiellen Not, droht uns auch die Vereinsamung in der Selbstisolation.
Wir glauben, dass eine Gesellschaft Subkultur, Kunst und Diskurs braucht. Lasst uns das öffentliche Leben nicht gänzlich staatlicher Autorität überlassen, sondern neue Wege für unser Miteinander finden. Vielerorts, so auch in Reutlingen und Tübingen, entstehen solidarische Nachbarschaftsnetzwerke, die versuchen gegenseitige Unterstützung zu organisieren. Das finden wir großartig. Doch nicht nur die Grundversorgung mit Nahrung und Arznei, sondern auch der Zugang zu kulturellen und diskursiven Inhalten, ist existenziell notwendig. Deswegen wird „self oscillation. self organisation.“ in der Samstagnacht vom 21.3. auf den 22.3. zwei Techno-live-Sets live im Internet streamen. Außerdem werden sich Vertreter*innen der Gruppe About.Utopia mit Gedanken und Debattenbeiträgen zu Wort melden. Für ein Leben in der Selbstisolation. Für das gute Leben für alle.
