This pack focuses on Tech House in the style of Sami Wentz who also goes by SAIMONT. He has an original style that mixes a main rhythm and various embellishments that give somewhat of a minimalistic deep presence to the music. At times it can sound tribal mixed with a steady European vibe, in terms of composition.

The French producer, Sami Wentz, had been in the House and Techno scene for some years before he considered producing his own beats.

He broke into the industry in a huge way as within a month he had the honour of signing to the prestigious, Autist Records, one of the largest labels for Minimalist Techno in the world, at the time. But he did not stop there as he was in contact with the famous German label, Resopal Schallware, which allowed him to get producers like: Ellen Allien, DJ Luciano, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, and Terry Lee Brown Jr., etc.

Later on he would touch bases with other big name international labels like: Defected Records, Nervous Records, and Noir Music, etc. Wentz had established himself as a Deep / Tech house name who would then get access to some of the largest who worked alongside euro producers in the same caliber as: Dandi & Ugo, Digitalism, Dusty Kid, Edu Imbernon, Harvey McKay, Lutzenkirchen, Slam, Uto Karem, and Vitalic, etc. He would then play larger and more prominent venues and Night Clubs.

There is no telling how far SAIMONT / Sami Wentz will go in 2019. One thing is for sure, he has a full schedule with packed dates and you can see him live and experience his original and substantial Tech House sound.

Welcome to our new series of digital compilation releases.

This special release compilation series will feature two parts: Elysium (Heaven), and Hades (Hell). Originals on each compilation represent the vibe of either Heaven or Hell. Expect to hear two very different shades of underground house on each release, alongside some familiar Trojan House style remixes to complete the compilations.

Elysium is a conception of the afterlife where mortals chosen by the Gods would remain after death, where they would live a blessed and happy life, indulging in whatever employment they had enjoyed in life.

With our first release in this special series of compilations, we have a selection of down tempo original tracks that represent the sounds of Elysium. More focused on groove and emotion, and radiate a sense of happiness, well being, warmth, love, and prosperity.

Patrick Daniels brings his underground house flavour to Trojan House Records with "I Need You". His original mix is a hard hitting house track that will have fists pumping from his big kick drum, and beautiful organ melody that bounce around his crispy drums parts.

Panos' remix, aptly named "The Lost Dub" takes his interpretation into a dark and magical place. He builds a spacious plane where he stretches his bouncy drums, and dreamy synth lines to create a pounding, mystical journey. Not unlike undertaking an expedition to find Atlantis.

Sami Wentz' underground house vibe resonates right through his remix. From his bouncy drums, to his infectious deep bass line, right through to his processed and delayed percussions, vocals and pad line. An underground house cut, that would not be out of place peak time on dense dance floors!

James Petrou's remix is a tech house track at its core. With his pounding kick drum, and stuttering short bass line in place, James lays down a melodic and slightly uplifting organ melody that blend together in an aggressive and face paced manner. It's this untamable force that will have feet moving across the floor.

Cameron Cooper's version of "I Need You" brings his unique flavour. Consisting of a fusion of deep, house, and tech elements. His remix is a strikingly curious amalgam that culminates when he snaps his addictive bass line into the mix after his sparse and stripped back build. It is this unpredictable contrast that will keep dance floors on their toes.

Patrick Daniels second track on the EP is "Breathe". A deep house number, complete with beautiful bright chord stabs and big sounding synth parts. Steeped in reverb, atmosphere and character, his use of delay for these parts including a subliminal vocal part give this a deep Chicago underground vibe.
