Stoney and 3D wrote this song, I really liked the original and reading the comments someone had mentioned it would be interesting how it sounded with more rhythm guitar, got me thinking, yeah remix.. the guys said yes, obviously. I just got a Telecaster, 1st ever so I thought I'd try it on a partial rehearsed solo :-)and did some extra rhythm guitar too.

This is a weird one, it started with me liking a little ditty by Alpha Roots (https://soundcloud.com/alpha-roots) called Hot which I sort of hummed a vocal melody to “She’s Hot” and thought a song about a transvestite would give Alphio a grin....
I didn’t get far before I realised I needed John to sort me some lyrics to which he agreed, thanks mate! A couple of weeks later I got these back and they completely changed the whole dynamic so I started afresh and went raunchy. So this is actually a song about a ladyboy, he still has his tallyho and intends to keep it… if you are offended I’m sorry, this is just a bit of fun it actually reminds me of a time I chatted up my friend’s “sister” Kim whom I’d met for the first time.. but that’s another story.

A couple of months on and he presented me with these lyrics which were loosely based on the events in our conversation...good eh :-) I laid down bass, a rough beat and some loose chords and Pete did the business with the drums, we went a bit towards the funky side of rock I guess, suited the vibe, again he added to the track his own distinctiveness which then got guitars in various guises and a little bit of mixing..well OK quite a lot LOL

Jimmy Rivas (https://soundcloud.com/j-rivas) asked me to have a go at adding a bit of guitar to one of his songs, I thought it needed some real sax, (normal for me, I love sax, what can I say LOL) so Jörg and I worked on a few variations together and separately, (more from him about that later)I ended up just using the vocals which were so strong and sort of went American Soft Rock with it as it suited the singing I guess.

I asked Pete (MidiPunk) to have a look and he really got stuck in and we developed it, bass and drums together over a few, back and forth transatlantic sessions, (6 actually LOL) Jörg then (again, sorry mate third time lucky!) did some nice sax for the break and I forgot to put my guitar solo in as the sax just worked so well, anyway there you have it... Jimmy Rivas (https://soundcloud.com/j-rivas) asked me to have a go at adding a bit of guitar to one of his songs, I thought it needed some real sax, (normal for me, I love sax, what can I say LOL) so Jörg and I worked on a few variations together and separately, (more from him about that later)I ended up just using the vocals which were so strong and sort of went American Soft Rock with it as it suited the singing I guess.

I asked Pete (MidiPunk) to have a look and he really got stuck in and we developed it, bass and drums together over a few, back and forth transatlantic sessions, (6 actually LOL) Jörg then (again, sorry mate third time lucky!) did some nice sax for the break and I forgot to put my guitar solo in as the sax just worked so well, anyway there you have it...
