Nomad explores different contradictions in order to create dreamy but steady grooves. Roaming freely through space and time, mingling and dosing the right sounds in the right place to obtain a balance between complexity and simplicity. It never lingers on one particular style, always moving and evolving. Nomad takes his music with him on the road and only uses it in his live sets so that he can fully manipulate the sounds the way he wants to.
This Requiem EP is his debut EP and shows us how Nomad also masters minimalistic techno styles to add complexity to his sound. Based on French Classical Composer Gabriel Fauré's Requiem, the EP plays with the classic requiem form, consisting of multiple parts which are fixed to this type of composition. The titles of the tracks are a further tip of the hat to the classic requiem form.
Requiem is truly dance floor material and a must have in your record bag!
