Raw, underground, talented, these three terms could describe Joe Roder, an 80's child who's mixing skills developed in the mid 2000nds, at a speed that may turn many of us jealous.

After a discovery tour through different music styles from different decades like Grunge, Alternative Rock, Trip Hop, he thought it should be time to attend his first underground-techno-event in 2006. After a bassfilled night he felt that this could become a music-style to fall in love with. In 2007, a friend happened to install two 1200's with a mixer and a trolley, filled with records from Bonzai, Pornographic, CLR, Drumcode and many more, in his flat after a rave in a Belgian nightclub and left it there for a few months which gave him the opportunity to improve his skills and to focus on his mixing skills.

His skills progressed that fast that in 2009, he was placed 2nd at a national DJ contest. From there, it didn't take too much time until he got his first bookings in Luxembourg & the Province of Luxembourg. Point, Double Deuce, Soulkitchen, Factory12, Marx, Diams (F) to only name a few important electronic music venues around Luxembourg town. Lined-up with artists like Pet Duo, Chich, Raphael Dincsoy, Thomas Heckmann, Israel Toledo and many more, a first release on the Danish label SUBTEC Records in 2013 with Marco Rota, a 90 minutes set at the worldwide recognized, German Electronic Music Festival NATURE ONE in 2014, his path was launched for a career that only can be looked forward to with enthusiasm.

Keeping his raw and dark techno-style constant for nearly one decade, we can't await to enjoy one of his sets at a venue in Luxembourg or above, shall it be in a dark underground venue, an open-air or even a well-known nightclub.
