From the vaults: Nasty Dirty Electro Music 2005

A mix from a long time ago that I previously thought lost! I put together this mix for my friends to emulate the sound of a club night called Nasty Dirty Sex Music that was enjoying huge success at Ministry of Sound and Ibiza in 2005. It all sounded very fresh when Tim Sheridan was playing it in 05 but as fun as this mix is, it probably sounded dated by the time I finished it!

The mixing itself is a little rough but it didn't matter so much with this kind of music at the time. It was more about the energy and the big sound around at the time. Using mostly vinyl and one CDJ the tracks were mostly bought from Juno or the record shop. This mix was recorded in the back bedroom in Billericay.

So lets go back to when Electro House was en vouge! The best song on the mix is Humate - Breed and the most embarrassing is probably Coburn 'We interrupt this programme'.
