The fifth mix in the series of mixes exploring the house sounds of the late 80's and early 90's - with a mixture of Chicago house, new york beats, NYC Garage, Detroit techno and house, UK acid house, remixs action from top producers like Steve 'silk' Hurley, Belgian new beat and Italian House. These mixes feature some of my favourites from the featured year. I may have got a year wrong by one year or so, it wouldn't surprise me.

1988 was the year House really took off in the UK (of course loads of DJ's including my big brother had been playing and buying house tunes before 1988, and some of the best come before this year) and crossed over. This mix is over 2 hours long and features some incredible tunes too many to tell a story about them all, but some of my favourite acid tracks - 'Hot hands', 'Slo Mo Acid', 'We are Phuture' plus gems that have stayed in my playlist for years - 'This is Acid' and 'It is what it is'.
