And as the sun faded away, and the pressure built up on its ears, Terrible found a cozy spot at the bottom of the sea where it could hide away from the world.

Terrible had a lot to say, but no voice, no focus, and no desire to leave its newfound home. Terrible was a mess (Terrible still is) and so it built something to speak for itself—a friend. Terrible created it in its own image, and it was in every way, shape, and form, undeniably Terrible. And with this newly built companion, it sat around at the bottom of the sea for days, and weeks, and months, singing songs, until it remembered its loved ones that still waited above the surface.

And so one day, reluctantly, Terrible said farewell to the deep end, where the worst times of its life were also the best, and slowly floated upwards. Its new companion could not follow—it was only built to live at the bottom of the sea. Tame Impala's new album "Currents" is an unbelievably awesome future-psych explosion, and it reminded Terrible exactly why it loves Kevin Parker in an obsessively creepy way.

On first listen, this is what the first track, "Let it Happen" sounded like to Terrible, so it made a bullshit Ableton file. But that Ableton file ended up actually turning into a full-fledged remix.

This album got Terrible through some weird times, so this is a thank you/ceremonial offering to Kevin Parker. May he sit on the shining throne of music gods for all eternity.

Terrible found part of itself it remembered only from childhood, and it also watched a lot of Kyle videos.

But most importantly, Terrible found someone just as terrible. They taught it about itself. They taught it about ears. They taught it about feelings. They taught it about nasty vegan food.

And then they had to leave.

Terrible worked as bike messenger for the summer. It drank a lot of coffee. It talked to a lot of baristas. It tried to weed out the bullshit from what it had learned in college. But mostly it just made this album for its friends to dance to.
