1.0 rich hearthis.at https://hearthis.at 150 100% The artist BENJAMIN ČENGIČ, better known as ZIAN, is a street artist from Sarajevo, and also goes by the name TWEK as a graffiti writer. With his urban art association OBOJENA KLAPA, he has already created countless murals and large-scale projects throughout the city, but his real breakthrough came with the founding of the annual mural and graffiti event FASADA FESTIVAL, which has been bringing artists from all over the world to Sarajevo since 2021. Among them was even MARTHA COOPER one year. He runs the association and the festival together with ADNA MUSLIJA, as well as the Manifesto Galerija, a creative art space that consistently offers an interesting program and serves as the headquarters for their initiatives. We met with ZIAN at the gallery and recorded an interview about his many projects and how they came to be.
