The Story Imagine an alternate space: Dislocated, Unhinged, where the forces of gravity are so strange that the Sun is always eclipsed by either one of a planet's two moons. Imagine a place where the only illumination derives from the corona of light escaping around the edge of the moon.

Act 1: The first part of this mix sets the scene, describing the (un)natural environment, describing what is 'normal' and dark, but which is not quite pitch-black. Everything is presented in muted shades, there are no vibrant colours, nothing that would inspire beauty in our eyes. Yet, for all that, the place has has its own intrinisic beauty, its own definition of wonder. The state of eclipse, however, is due to wane. A time is approaching when the moon will move and allow light through and the people lament the end of the trail for the first moon...

Act 2: The second part prepares the listener to experience a shift of the natural balance in this place during which light begins to bleed unhindered into the world, flowing through an ever widening gap. It is a time of fear for the indigenes, an unholy period when their world is turned upside down and demons of light slide insidiously into their lives. A time when sunlight blinds eyes accustomed to darkness, stripping away the beauty, obscuring the wonder usually revealed within shadow.

After a time the natural laws of the place begin to reassert themselves. Rituals are performed, slowly banishing the light, healing the perceived fractures through which the light seeped. The star slowly returns to being Eclipsed as the other moon moves into place, and the people rejoice as only they can, celebrating the coming of the second moon...
