At my father's home, I found a Pierre Barouh's old record ; it was a great samba tune ... sung in French ; since this day ... the idea to make a selection of rare French Brazilian sweetnesses germinated in my head.
Being a serious Brazilian music's lover and record collector for a long time, today I offer you some classic and RARE recordings from the 60s and 70s, ... selection which asked me for many searches and efforts. I hope that you will have so much pleasure as me to rediscover these songs and singers of the end of a nice era " Nouvelle Vague "...

"Du soleil à Rio" is a tribute to the French Brazilian music I dedicate to my parents, to my friends Sis Elijah, Joao "Zumo", Ras Tomao and Alvaro "Fafa" from Rio, Recife and Bahia. With Unlimited Love.
