Big thanks to Léo Urriolabeitia who alias Re-Drum and has been in the music circle since 2007 producing IDM/Downtempo/Ambient sounds on the first albums. He discovered the Dub techno sound with Echospace's track "Sunset" from there onwards he always wanted to make genre crossovers with a Dub techno spirit at the core. His double album "It's Better to Burn Out than to Fade Away" serves as a great example: Dub techno in all of its shades. The 2012 composition "S.. Trak" featured in this mix has been played by Laurent Garnier back in the day and it was part of the 2010’s Dub techno wave of French artists such as Fingers in the noise, Axs, Zzzzra, Lo, Upwellings to name a few. This year, 2021 he released a remix of Alessandro Crimi’s track "Cycling Alongside Venice Beach" for the label Circle Of Us while as well preparing a truly deep and dubby EP for this very label. Stay tuned!
