You’re Leaving

I recently saw the movie "Wild" with Reese Witherspoon.

I was drawn to this movie because of an interview with Reese Witherspoon on "60 Minutes". I thought about the character's husband who lost her to heroin addiction. This song is from his viewpoint. He loves her but he sees her taken away by her heroin addiction. You can see an interview about the movie here:

You’re Leaving (Short lyrics)
Verse 1:
I loved this woman
I became a new man
We became as one
Our love had begun

Oh the pain
Of your leaving

Verse 2:
You wandered and excluded me
You began to flee
We lost our glue
Through addiction I lost you?
