Treavor Moontribe is one of the founders of the Los Angeles based “Moontribe Collective” and its legendary full moon desert gatherings. Since 1993, these events have been at the core of Southern California’s underground electronic music scene. Treavor established himself as one of the top Djs in LA thru these events and has since traveled the world from Brazil to Japan to Morocco, Portugal, Germany and all over North America. As a Dj it’s always been his diversity that’s set him apart from his peers. His love for music spans multiple genres and his DJing reflects this as he is just as known for Techno/Progressive as he is Psy Trance and various other forms of electronic music. In 2009 Treavor became the first American label DJ for Denmark based Iboga Records and released a compilation for them called Set9: Desert Selections.

Over the years Treavor has also established himself as a dynamic music producer having released music under several project names. His most notable project by far is Desert Dwellers. Along with his partners Amani Friend and Rara Avis, Desert Dwellers has released 5 full length chill out albums on White Swan Records as well as countless singles, EPs and remixes for labels like Six Degrees, Flow Records, Iboga Records and Desert Trax. After the success of their “Downtemple Dub” album series on White Swan, and playing shows at some of the USA’s most prolific festivals like Lightning In A Bottle, Wanderlust and Earthdance Northern California, the Desert Dwellers are now working on a new album as well as a downtempo compilation for Iboga Records.
