North Picene language was possibly spoken in Italy (current Pesaro area) some 3000 years ago. Only a few fragments of texts in that language have survived. Nobody has been able to translate them. This means that nobody knows what the lyrics of this song are about.

The song was obviously titled after the earlier Possible Space song Ghosts of the Old Planet.
