Soul Jacka (DJ/Producer) Formerly known as Slap Jack has been a House Ambassador from the southern part Of the U.S.A. since 2006.
A slow steady approach to the scene originally starting out playing guitar for a Jazz Band (A Melting Pot Jazz Band) but as one of the founding members died from lung cancer in 2006 the band soon fizzled out. This was when his DJ career started with the “Kabuki Dance Krew” from Lafayette, LA. Spinning all House music and some Old School Breaks, he was landing gigs like "Festival International” one of the nation’s largest world festival's and a local Art Walk, were his house music was made known outdoors on the streets corners of his local downtown area.
In 2006 it was born right there on the streets with only hand full of Chi-town jacked out house tracks from "Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, Stacy Kidd, JT Donaldson, Bryan Jones (before Golf Clap) Joey Youngman (for those who still remember Joey) and Roy Davis Jr." These great House pioneers became some of his greatest influences to him. Soul Jacka House flavors contained Jackin House, French Disco, House, Deep House, Soulful House, Classic 90’s Piano House and what he likes to call Vintage House.
Later the producer side of Soul Jacka came out, getting a chance to work with Roy Davis Jr. on a few projects and producing his own House tracks that have appeared on Snazzy Traxx Records, Disco balls Rec., Karmic Power Rec., Recovery House Rec., Yoo’Nek Rec., Soul Shift Rec., and LW Rec. I started my journey late in the game (age 42) and spent 5 years learning to mix and playing music in my livingroom for my own enjoyment before I got enough confidence to venture out.

I finally got the courage to play in public at an ìOpen Turntableî and, after appearing a few times, I was offered an opportunity to play during the breaks of the regular band and eventually advanced to playing 4 and 5 hour sets.

Having always wanted to learn how to compose, Julie has greatly paid attention to several musical styles, now extended over a wide range, a wide library of music variety of great quality. Her influences are the ska, Reggea , Folk , Jazz, Funk, old classics of the '60s ,' 70s and '80s , World Beat , Ambiance, Hindu and Native American music , Old School Hip Hop and among others, the French rap ( in her favorites).

In her late teen, she discovers Electronic music and her passion for music grows even more alongside another passion of hers, that of dance. Dance ... this liberating medium , therapeutic and that freedom of expression. All these years of musical culture and the well kept connection to this particular universe, Julie's taste develops in several categories of Electronic music from the House to Deep House, Tech House , Techno, Funk, Disco , Soulful , Chicago House, Progressive House and atmospheric DnB ... nevertheless Julie prefers the underground sounds.

Working in photo editing, drawing and creating jewellery, Julie is an artist expressing many forms of visual arts, but she always feels the need to develop her ear, so in 2012, she sets herself up with CDJ's and a mixer to learn DJing.

In 2014, Johanne Michaud (Julie's mother), decides to start a Web Radio under the name Radio Webphré, in Magog, and offers Julie to host her own weekly show presenting DJs and DJ / Producers. An opportunity like this has allowed Julie to promote her many DJ's friends and to continue her journey and discoveries in the underground world of Electronic music.

In February 2015, the adventure of the '' So What! Radioshow '' starts! The purpose of the show is to help people discover DJs and artists from around the world, all presenting an exclusive 2 hours mix. The show also helps discover the different styles and the different musical influences and roots of each DJ presented.

Starting out in early 2015 TCHIKA has quickly integrated into the Danish DJ scene. Playing at venues such The Groovebox Collective, Club Vesterå (V4) and Gecko Positive House the Montenegrin international has swiftly started making waves in the vast ocean of electronic music. His genuine mix of Tech, Deep, House and melodic Techno comes off as a side product compared to his energetic live performances. TCHIKA is working on his debut EP, expected at the end of 2016.

Already in the early 80s rave Pete for DJ mixing and Electro-productions.
At the age of 16, he learned the classical mixing on turntables with the help of DJs from the then popular Zeppelin / location
and later Voodoo in Lüneburg. Packed by the fascination of Sytheziser he founded the duo SOHT with Klaus Bartels.
Electro, EBM and electro punk were the first orientations at their own productions.
In 1990 enthusiastic about Acid and Chicago and Detroit house he changed his name to Pete Spacecube as DJ and Acid Tribe as
Producer.
As Pete Spacecube he began in the former mitgeründetem perjury in Hamburg actively conquer the Hamburg club scene and to
make .... it was followed by countless gigs and live acts and released s representative until today always something special, his own handwriting!
