Music and sounds of /Pine

Hailing from the streets of Damascus, Syria, Sary Howayek aka Pine is an emerging producer and DJ.

For the past six years, Sary has been living and working in Toronto, Ontario.
After graduating from sound engineering at Recording Arts Canada (RAC), Sary has been actively involved in Toronto’s electronic music scene. Alongside producing, Sary has DJed venues across the city including The Vic, Bassline Music Bar, The Fountain, Li'ly lounge, Rasputin Vodka Bar and Bunda lounge.

Sary is also one half of the Techno duo Oak/pine a project he started with Louie Chenard aka Oak in 2014.

In his original productions, Sary blends modern techniques with the traditional sounds of the Near East.
