Now more than ever I have been feeling inspired by the pioneering DJ's and musical hosts of the 1970's and early 1980's who were not confined by genres or scenes. Rather, these selectors, such as David Mancuso, Mark Kamins, and Grandmaster Flash, would pull from any style of music as long as it elevated peoples' souls, made them move their feet, or made them think of music differently.

I've always found George Harrison's "My Sweet Lord" to be such a deep, thoughtful, brave, and even eerie song. However, being made in 1970 it doesn't really bump the way it should. In addition to some remastering and such, I did this rework to really allow the dance floor to catch their breath and close their eyes on the dance floor while the sun begins to creep in through the loft windows at those late night after hours.

Hope you enjoy and are able to program it into your sets.
