Insist Music celebrates its 10th birthday with the „Dirty Dust EP“ penned by none other than Patrick Kunkel. The Frankfurt born and meanwhile in Vienna living Patrick is one of the two Insist Music label managers. His musical career began already in the late 90s. Patrick’s musical and professional achievements included among others his own agency Global Tunes and the Global Player "Cocoon Recordings". Musically Patrick always remained true to his style: straight Techno skillfully combined with the nicest elements of Chicago House. Colorful and grooving monotony, music for dancers, DJs and connoisseurs.

Patrick Kunkel sets a first milestone with the now available Dirty Dust EP. The 4-track-EP is divided in “The Dust” and “Dirty”, as well as a „The Dust“-Remix from Broombeck and a „Dirty“-Remix from Matt Star. „The Dust“ and „Dirty“ form a musical unit on the EP with a very clear focus on the groovy beat. Both tracks turn out to be what they really are: delicate masterpieces to make you dance.
Meanwhile, the remixers have adopted and emphasized the subtle sides of „The Dust“ and „Dirty“. Broombeck as well as the Frankfurt based Matt Star are the ideal candidates for this task.
Like Patrick Kunkel himself they share the musical philosophy that a successful track consists of a nice blend of different styles.
