Dave RMX - Super Structure Vol. 1

Is it a Mash Up? Is it a Remix? Is it a funkified trip to the dancefloor?

PZR label boss Dave RMX is back with another home run.
Super Structure Vol. 1 comprises 4 heavyweight club funk bangers that fuse funky wiggles with speaker-shaking bass. Somewhere between a remix, an original production and a mash-up, each track delivers a delicious combination of power and panache.

Drawing on the influences of Big Beat, Hip Hop, Funk and Soul, Dave takes classic vocals and catchy hooks combining them with tight, funky drums and bass and uses his considerable production talents to propel them into 2015 with a full-bodied, funky bass underscore that will get butts shaking across the globe!

Kicking off the EP is Acrobatic Soul a funky take on The Doors "Soul Kitchen" combined with the vocal talents of Akrobatic tied together by a funky bassline and beats designed for the dancefloor through and through.

Champ Rocker is next up on the EP cutting up the Mohawks funk classc "The Champ" and paring it with vocal chops from FatBoy Slim's "Champion Sound" reinventing both tracks into a brand new tune that get's your feet moving.

Magnetic Funk sees the Ultramagnetic MCs given the Super Structure make over as they are combined with catchy funk and bass riffs and hooks to get your head nodding and the dancefloor grooving.

Bringing the EP to a close is Move On, a sing along monster taking classic Reel 2 Reel and Ludacris vocals and matching them to a funked up take on the soul classic "Jim On The Move" by Lalo Schifrin (which you may recognise as the music that drives Big Beat anthem "Oh La La" by The Wiseguys).

Available on a "Pay What You Like" basis from Particle Zoo Recordings' Bandcamp page.
