Visions of Johanna (Bob Dylan) Collab, Featuring Amanda and Pete Sanderson w/ Youth Is Wasted)

We had the true honor of collaborating this past month with the really gifted David Brandt, Ann Schurmann, Erick Burdette from the US! We had played a demo version of Bob Dylan’s timeless classic, “Visions of Johanna”. David told us he was really moved and heard this tune as something that Erick Burdette, Ann Schurmann and David Brandt; together comprising Youth Is Wasted) could really build upon. The challenge would be how to both add something and make this classic something different. So to this roughly recorded tune they overdubbed, bass (from CA), lead guitar, casio, 3 part vocal backgrounds, a vocal harmony track and djembe. We were all pretty pleasantly surprised at what evolved in this experimental collaboration and hope to do much more with these three!! We hope you enjoy it!
