Dragon's Lake is the name of an alpine lake located in northwestern Epirus mountain range, in Greece, at an altitude of 2.150m. According to folktales, the lake used to be inhabited by dragon-girls who being jealous and fought each other by throwing pines and rocks and thus created the peculiar landscape and gave their name to the lake.
These dragon-girls still live nowadays, but to their survival they had to be transformed by nature to microscopic alpine tritons. According to locals, those female tritons sing at nights when male dreamers travel so far to see them.
This is a live recorder soundtrack on a night like this.
