It’s already the second time for him to release on Ghosthall. The first release was together with Philipp Cron as us & sparkles, now on the recomposed series you get a chance to hear Steinklopfer solo. The first of the two songs is „There Is Only Now“, and while the original version is already really deep, Steinklopfer preserved the original mood of the song, yet made it sound raw and dark. Steinklopfers extensive use of analogue drummachines and synthesizers is something that clearly plays a huge part in his musical style.
On „Closed Doors“ Steinklopfer and Sued managed to incorporate the original melodic motive, while extending and reharmonizing it in a clever way.
