<itunes:summary><![CDATA[Based in London, UK, I'm originally from Helsinki, Finland and produce/mix as Oxime. My early love of music grew on a steady diet of Latin, combined with 80s synth sounds of Eurythmics and a-ha. Production back then was Chip Tunes on the Commodore 64 and the Yamaha PSR-4500 synth with a four-track recorder, until I stumbled on Drum N' Bass in the early 1990s.
Moving to the UK, I fell in love with atmospheric/ intelligent/ liquid Drum N' Bass and the work of LTJ Bukem, Intense, Seba, and Alex Reece. That led me to Ninja Tune, breakbeats and mixing and mashing up world music inspired by Drumagic and Giles Peterson. In the mid-00s I drifted into the world of early deep house and lounge inspired by Ludovic Navarre (St. Germain) and Stephane Pompougnac and his Hotel Costes sessions, as well as Martin Solveig's African sounds blended with house beats. Add Phon.O, Dauwd, Extrawelt, and &Me and you find me now in the middle of organic/afro/tech/progressive house and still partial to DnB.]]></itunes:summary>
