The story of how this song came about by Ell George:

About 4 months ago, the great palace, known as 8 Bar began to fall, it was already becoming more of a swat than an 8 bedroom flat. But I loved it, and everybody who lived there, it was the most worn out accommodation I’d ever spent so much time in. The shower had fallen through to the living room, and the mould was making housemates ill. One day after work, as usual, I made my way over, only to find a fire engine, an ambulance and a police car. Oh fuck. Haha, what has happened? I wander inside, and the firemen tell me that the building was collapsing, and had fallen through on someone. No one I knew. Thankfully, he was okay. I wasn’t surprised, 8 Bar had some heavy parties in the past, and it was waiting for this day to happen.

The last 8 Bar Party.

Of course there had to be one last final goodbye party, to celebrate how much fun and madness went on in this unique building. However I fucking slept through it, I think I spent the day in the sun, and crashed early. I woke up at 9am the following morning so angry that i’d slumped through it, although I knew it would still be going on at this hour. So I made my way over around 10.20 and of course, everyone was still there, going hard. Wicked.

I took some speed, smoked up, danced, hula hooped for hours, and got engaged to Danny. Blessed. At about 2pm I needed a change of scenery, so i went to my mates place; Ben. I was still wired, and wanted to play my sax, so Ben sound recorded everything, he got out his loop pedals, and I felt like a loop pedal legend or something, for my first time using it, we got on so well. Meowing, hmmm’ing, lalala’ing. And then I sang. I didn’t realise I could sing before this day.

For about 5 or 6 hours, maybe more… we worked on the song, adding more loops, i suggested a round of howling, that Seren and Ali contributed in. It was a really magical moment, I couldn’t be more grateful for help of everyone who got involved (Oak; The Floating Cellist – you melt my soul every time you play, you’re magical buddy! Thank you!) in the making on this wonderful piece of music. It took some time to fully complete, but we did it, and it’s beautiful.

(Oh Mr James); I couldn’t of done this without you, and I am so blessed to have you and Seren in my life, through the ups and downs I have put you through. You will always mean so much to me! Here is the artwork for the song that will soon be made viral for the world to hear.
