That feels strange! Before we started null4277, we almost always visited a weekly event called "MiDi", a home for lovers of all varieties of house music, presented by almost famous and upcoming local heroes from Leipzig. One of them: Filburt! Now he's doing a podcast for us ... another circle completes.

Filburt started DJing in the mid 90ies, with a focus on HipHop, Funk, Dub, 2Step, Techno, House and of course: Disco. Today his sets are more housy, but he still likes to mix it up with other styles. As Filburt and Filburt with Good GuyMikesh he released sounds on Liebe*Detail, Compost, Mirau, Permanent Vacation, Dirt Crew and Riotvan before setting up his own label "o'rs", featuring artists like Thomas Scholz, Krink, RDF, Marbert Rocel, Llewellyn aka Lake People, M.ono& Luveless, Ron Deacon and so forth. Filburt's passion for music is not just one to hear: Just have a look at the limited editions artworks (and sometimes the medium itself - last time you've heard a cassette?!) and you'll understand.
