Exclusive: Nima Ikki - SUBKLTR Mix

After featuring the release of NIMA IKKI and Turning Torso's inaugural album, 'Conociendo la Dimensión', just a few days ago, and having the opportunity to talk with Nima about the record and her future projects, we decided to kick off a series of exclusive guest mixes. We feel privileged and proud to have such a devoted artist as Nima as our featured artist for the first mix. Stepping a bit away from her recent, more experimental mixes, Nima delivers a much more dance floor-oriented soundscape, which includes tracks from some of the most prominent underground artists today. The Mexican producer and DJ weaves together almost 90 minutes of insatiable beats and melodies from Recondite, Nicola Koch, Akiko Kiyama, Audio Werner, Jeandado, Mark Henning, Refraction (IT), Schubert Has Fallen, Markus Schweickert, Etapp Kyle, Kobosil and The Knife.

As a member of the ENSAMBLE family, one of Mexico City's most respected underground collectives — including artists like A—rp, Alias616, AntiGravity, Lineas De Nazca, Pro.Tone and Convex Mirror — we look forward to future encounters with Nima Ikki's sonic creations.

Additionally, we await anxiously for her upcoming EP, 'Skeletons Hidden In The Closet' (the vinyls have already be pressed), which is set for release on Discos Mono / ENSAMBLE by the end of the year. The self-titled track takes the A-side and the B-side presents 'I Think I Can Control The Noise'. The digital release will most likely include remixes by the distinguished Mexican artists Fonobisa, Itzone, Me & Myself and Turning Torso.
