One of Germany’s rising stars, Nico Pusch is the next talented artist to deliver a track for Soundplate Records. Nico had an incredible 2013 playing to sold out crowds all over the world and picking up thousands of fans on Soundcloud and Facebook, converting them to his unique style of electronic music. We were so blown away when we caught his smokin set in Amsterdam at ADE 2013 that we were clamouring to get some of his music on the label as soon as we got back!

The track is called Grune Weise which translates as Green Meadow. The laid back, dreamy vibe will certainly take you to a place where the grass is greener! We fell in love with this tune the first time we heard it and it’s been on all our playlists since, so it is wunderbar to finally be able to share this as a release.

We are also proud to give the green light to up and coming producer Mark Wells for remix duties on this one. Having already had music signed to labels such as Purp & Soul, Nervous and Pete Tong’s FFRR Recordings, Mark is defiantly one to watch out for in 2014. He gives this wistful melody a club-ready suckerpunch; completely restructuring it and adding a thumping bassline.
