So, here we are at the point where ‘Deep House’ is currently a very, dirty phrase.
Who’d have thought that such an unassuming genre, keeping itself to itself, not harming anybody would cause such a stir?
The genre which was once sub-labelled ‘Dad House’, has been adopted and bastardised by the youth and media, generally ending up not quite as deep as it once was.
Surely we have been here before, so let’s not dwell on it for too long, in the wise words of Belgium’s DJ/Producer – Aeroplane, we take solace… “Genres are for journalists”

Well it’s time to cast my soapbox aside, safe in the knowledge that none of you lot actually give a toss about my ramblings and get back to why I’m here…

Autumnal Deep now emerges in its third incarnation, which I am actually fair excited about and pretty chuffed with. An amalgamation of electronic-soul, mechanical-funk and neo-jazz vibes, suited to brisk walks in the chilled misty air or alternatively, for when you are all cosied up in front of a smouldering fire, sipping a hot toddy. Enjoy = )
