In 1991, Shane Heneghan & Eamon Downes met through a record shop where Eamon was working. They got together in the studio, formed the alias of Liquid and created a 4 track EP just for the hell of it. They pressed to vinyl, a small amount of copies not thinking much of it. It became an instant must play at raves and they sold out, XL Recordings, the same label that now houses Adele came knocking in 1992, signed it and released to the world. 24 years later and the track Sweet Harmony is recognised as one of the piano rave anthems ever. We spoke to Eamon who runs Liquid solely these days to get the story on this classic.
