Kiwi duo State Of Mind consistently produce some of the highest quality Drum & Bass that constantly hits the top of the charts on all the download sites worth their weight in gold.

They are well known the world over in part to a game changing record they produced back in 2005. The track was called Sunking and to say it became an anthem would be understatement. Nick remembers in the summer of 2006 you could not go to a BBQ, a day at the beach or simply walk down the road without hearing it blasting out of someones car, a New Zealand electronic favourite.

For our special Kickbacks edition we invited Pat from State of Mind in to the studio to give us the lowdown on the making of Sunking.
