August 2016 - A move away from recent soulful flavours into tougher territory, this month we have big drums, acid wiggles and synth stabs, and a load of jacking energy. Starting with immortal words from Neil Armstrong, we immediately hit the dancefloor, maintaining the funk, jack & energy right across the full 2 hours. Every track an underground killer, spiced up up with classic acapella's & effects, it never lets up. Relevant for many of the worlds top dance floors, with music from house legends and newbies alike, it's a cracker. Hope you like it.

July 2016 - A mix that starts with a profound message for humanity (from the late, great Charlie Chaplin, no less...), we spend the first half going deep, deep into percussive rhythms, afro vibes and accompanying acapella power. Heads down, dance floor gold. We lift our heads as the lights of the most soulful of vocals, funkiest piano's and grooviest basslines send the smiles beaming across our faces. Imagine this mix in a 500 capacity club, with minimal lighting, a powerful sound system and a smiling crowd of committed dancers - brings back some amazing memories. Upfront and classic tracks, mixes and vocals from Anthony K, Frankie Estevez, DJ Gregory, Dazzle Drums, Arnaud D, Louie Vega, Caron Wheeler, Joe Claussell, DJ Oji, Carolyn Victorian, DJ Spinna, Mood II Swing, Jesse Saunders, Demarkus Lewis, Ferry Ultra, Opolopo, Andrea Marr, Klevakeys, Gruvthang and the legendary Blaze (& multiple acapella's & EFX) grace the mix. You get the idea - the finest house music around. Enjoy.

June 2016 - 2 hours of soulful, funky goodness this month, as we always seem to have at this time of year. House music's finest producers and artists have been turning out incredible music for us, in both quantity and quality, and we have tons of fun with it here. Starting with soulful vocal gems from Sculptured Music, Kings Of Groove, Quentin Harris, Teddy Douglas, Kenny Carpenter, Sheila Ford, DJ Spen, Kathy Brown & Ricky Morrison, we move into more tracky/jackin' territory with Housego, DJ Sneak, Disco Ball'z, Delgado, Demuir & Bonetti at the controls. Throw in the occasional huge vocal from Ebony Soul Ft. Darnell & Blacktwins Ft. the great Dawn Tallman, and we have an extremely funky groove goin' on. We bring things to a big gospel conclusion with classics from Mijan & 95 North (on the great Slip N Slide label) and King Unique. I play, collect & love most genres of house - but this soulful business is where my heart really lies. Love it - hope you do too.

These tunes rocked every dance floor of note during these years, from Red Zone & Sound Factory in New York to the Hacienda, the Ministry of Sound & Cream, every track was a huge underground hit. I won't run through them all here, they are in the tracklisting, but if you were/are a fan of DJ heroes such as Morales, Humphries, Park, Pickering, Knuckles, Trouble Anderson, Vasquez, Sanchez & Masters At Work, you will love this. Stuffed full of upfront underground music, classic tracks, samples, acapellas and EFX, we have it all going on this month. Underground heroes Bruno Costa, Alex Agore, Demuir, Disco Ball'z, Giulio Bonaccio, the sweetly named Disco Slags, The BBN (with a stunning, soulful workout with Sean McCabe) DJ Romain and others rub shoulders with legends such as DJ Sneak, Barbara Tucker, Mood II Swing (several times...), Kim English, Maurice Joshua, David Morales, Kerri Chandler, Todd Terry & Harry Romero. My 5 year old son Tom also makes an appearance...see if you can spot him. The mix closes with a future classic, the great Bill Withers remixed incredibly by the super-talented Henrik Schwarz, followed by a bona-fied classic from 1990, in Jay Williams' 'Sweat'. A fitting way to end a pretty epic 2hrs 7mins of house music greatness. Hope you like it.
