The theme for this track is ego. More specifically a malignant ego that has been allowed to run rampant in ones life without any scrutiny. For some, ego is an all-powerful beast that has torn out their eyes and buried them in the dirt. They now live in it's lair, in darkness and pain, believing that this monster will protect them from the world outside.
