The KARMA TAPES series sees Austrian based NAURUAN STRANGER returning with a variety of valid melancholic vibes. It seems that the blurry reality and lack of any delighting turns in current world events have influenced not only the title of the series, but also the sound of these grainy, melodic and dark originals by the Stranger himself and a remix by Berlin based genius SUPERIMPOSED VOID. For they all echo a gloomy mood with some ecstasy towards the end.

The Ep starts off with „Erase“, a deep and surprising house-inspired electronic swamp, which slowly gets you lost. “Vertex”, a 303 bass-stomper, constantly evolves into a melancholic climax. The third track, „Waves“, hits your brain with some UK garage grooves from the past, mixed up with the weirdest effects and some serious poignant synth leads. Superimposed Void’s remix of the same track sees him increasing the intensity of the original by cutting the parts into shorter sequences and mixing it all up with a cogent broken beat making it a mad piece of music.
